Naoni is the leading orchestra of Ukraine led by the laureate of the Shevchenko National Prize, People's Artist of Ukraine Professor Viktor Gutsal. This is the only professional orchestra of folk instruments in Ukraine. Musicians popularize folk songs with great enthusiasm and love.

The basis of the concert programs is instrumental folk music from all regions of the country, classical works, as well as world-famous hits. The music is performed by ensembles: pipers, folk musicians, bandurists, violinists, electric musical instruments.

Cutting the silence of the concert hall, a rainbow, as if on an embroidered towel, will pass music to the audience, enter the heart, reveal the innermost recesses of the human soul; it will transfer to the ancient steppe, the boundless steppe, it will rise to the spruce heights of the Carpathians, will shine with the clear blue of the Polesie lakes. In those melodies, the fate of the people comes to life, their distinctive history, faith in immortality. It is this magical gift that the Naoni Orchestra has. Created in 1969, it has already gained favor with both a wide range of listeners and musicologists. Ascetic activity in the territory of folk musical instrumental art, he established himself as a unique collective. Indeed, today it is actually the only professional orchestra of Ukrainian instruments.

It includes the best of the best masters of Ukrainian instrumental music. Talented artists flock here from all over Ukraine like streams, thanks to which the orchestra has the opportunity to show the folklore heritage for a 21st-century person, to develop and deepen the color palette, sound. Along with traditional instruments, a bandura, cymbals, a violin, a pipe, and others serve it, and such unique ones as a ruble and a rocking chair, a bull, a goat, a corncrake.

And there are about forty instruments in the orchestra. In their concert activity, the collective strives, creatively developing, to represent the musical heritage of all regions of the country. The high skill of the performers extends the creative range of the orchestra, allows you to acquaint students with the works of Ukrainian classics and the achievements of modern composers of Ukraine. The orchestra gave more than 2500 concerts. He has toured in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, the Baltic countries, Austria, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, etc.
